About
What has been hailed as the best graphic novel about sales ever created by two individuals from Massachusetts.
How did it get started, you ask? Well…
During a series of lengthy car trips, Tom expressed his ambition to expand his brand and elevate his consulting practice to a broader audience. In discussions, Peter suggested a graphic novel approach to effectively convey stories and capture the essence of sales.
With Tom's proficiency in organizing a Google document, managing artwork payments, and utilizing Zoom, the team initiated the planning process. The envisioned concept aimed to be gritty, fun, dark, and visceral, with unpredictable endings. Upon finding Eli, who captured the essence of the graphic novel, the team collaborated to produce what has been hailed as the best Graphic Novel about sales ever created by two individuals from Massachusetts.

Tom has been helping scaling and struggling go-to-market teams for over ten years. Before running his own consultancy, he spent almost 20 years in sales and marketing roles of every color and flavor. He’s a big picture guy that also believes you have to get in the weeds to really understand how to do something right. He’s a bit of a MAD Magazine fanatic which may be what fuels a lot of the humor you see in these comics.

peter cleary
Peter has a long history in sales. Starting out selling cable television door to door, collecting on defaulted student loans, and eventually working his way up in the telecom industry from direct sales to Sales Manager to eventual Sales Engineering Director for the Northeast. (How did he get to Engineering from Sales you might ask? He is wicked smaht.) He and Tom have been friends for over 30 years and enjoy talking about sales and sharing the many stories that have either taught them lessons, made them laugh or out right made them afraid for humanity. Like any true salesperson, all of Peter's stories are 100% true. He also has kids and a wife…and a dog (pending what year you read this). More on Peter on LinkedIn.
